INFORMATION
Campbell
River is the closest airport to our Sayward base camp,
for added convenience, we offer complimentary pick-up
and drop-off services from Campbell River (CYBL) and Comox
(YQQ) airports.
Airlines
servicing these airports include Air
Canada, West Jet,
Pacific Coastal,
Central Mountain Air,
and Kenmore Air.
BC
Ferries also has frequently scheduled sailings from
Vancouver to Nanaimo, which is located on central Vancouver
Island approximately two hours drive from the Sayward
base camp. This, along with ferries to Victoria from Vancouver
and Port Angeles, WA, are appropriate options for families
who are driving participants directly to base camp. CanAdventure
Education does not offer a standard transportation service
from/to these cities.
While
many Vancouver Island ferry and air services are directed
into Victoria, it is a 4-hour drive from there to our
Sayward base camp, so we encourage families to seek more
convenient options for travel to our adventure base camp.

NEW
PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS FOR AMERICANS:
Beginning
January 23, 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens,
traveling by air between the United States and Canada
will be required to carry a valid passport for re-entry
into the US. As a result, American families considering
registration with CanAdventure Education should
ensure that all travellers have a passport that
is valid for at least six months beyond the expected
travel time.
