32-DAY STRUGGLING TEENS JOURNEY
2008 Rates & Dates

CanAdventure Education offers rolling admission, meaning that we can accept struggling teens at most any time. We can respond quickly to families in crisis and will take all reasonable steps to expedite the enrolment process when necessary. That said, we encourage families to consider the value of planning ahead and starting new applicants at the same time as other struggling teens. While we can integrate newcomers into our programs with relative ease, the process will undoubtedly be easier for struggling teens if they are not starting a couple of days or weeks behind their peers.

The 32-day Struggling Teens Journey program fee is:-
$350 per day. Total of  CAN$11,200 + 5% GST

The Hero's Quest School Program is:-
$220 per day + 5% GST

Autumn Equinox: 2008
The Autumnal Equinox is a time of year when days have shortened to become the same length as the night. It is widely regarded as the gateway to winter; a time when communities must gather together and individuals must strengthen spirits for the cold months ahead. It is also a time of harvest and thanksgiving, a time to reap the gifts that nature produces through the summer months and express appreciation for that which feeds our existence. CanAdventure Education's Autumn Equinox programs build on the themes of community spirit, individual strength, and appreciation of the world around us.

Winter Solstice: 2009
Winter is often seen as a time to stay inside and hide from the weather. We see it as a time to brave the elements and develop character personal fortitude in challenging outdoor conditions. Refering to the shortest day of the year, Winter Solstice is a time for short intense activities followed up with relaxed evenings by a warm campfire. We head for the mountains in our Winter Solstice programs to play in the snow and gaze in awe at the Island's white-capped peaks. Struggling teens learn the teamwork, determination, and self-discipline required by outdoor pursuits at this time of year, and they always know they've accomplished something remarkable.

Spring Equinox: 2009
Held from early spring to summer, these programs celebrate the arrival of warmer weather and emergence from darkness of winter. Each year on the spring (or vernal) equinox, daytime hours have increased to be the same length as night and spring blooms are in full swing on Vancouver Island. Early spring on the Island is characterized by rapid growth, as warmth returns to the land, rivers run clear again, and dark clouds give way to sunshine and new beginnings. We take full advantage of this heart-warming weather to get outside and begin the season of adventure, learning and personal growth.

Summer Solstice: 2009
Our Summer Solstice programs celebrate all that is great about summer. Referring to the longest day of the year, the summer solstice is a time to take stock of opportunities available to us all and celebrate the most active and social time of year. Summer is also the most enjoyable time of year to soak in the wonders of nature, and CanAdventure Education makes the most of it. Our Summer Solstice programs focus on activities that are perfect for the hottest time of summer; mountain hikes, river studies, and sea kayaking.
